Bayou Point Advisory only requests the data needed for the agreed scope of work. In many cases, work can begin with exported files, spreadsheets, reports, or limited datasets rather than full system access. Client information is handled confidentially, access is limited to the work being performed, and confidentiality terms or NDAs are included. Unless otherwise agreed, clients retain ownership of their underlying business data, while Bayou Point provides the analysis, recommendations, tools, and deliverables created through the engagement.
Most engagements begin with a discovery conversation to understand the business, current systems, pain points, and goals. When helpful, Bayou Point is happy to meet owners or leadership teams on site for an initial discussion, walkthrough, and observation of current workflows. This helps build trust, clarify the business context, and identify issues that may not be obvious from reports alone. The Rapid Business Visibility Diagnostic is a focused review of available data, workflows, reports, and operational processes to identify leakage, blind spots, and improvement opportunities. The client receives clear findings, practical recommendations, and an initial Findings & Opportunity Map. After the diagnostic, clients may choose a Visibility Diagnostic Extension, an implementation engagement, a reporting buildout, or ongoing support. Much of the analytical and buildout work can often be performed remotely, with additional onsite support available when it adds value.
Bayou Point offers defined-scope engagements whenever possible so clients understand what they are buying before work begins. Pricing depends on the complexity of the business, number of systems or data sources involved, urgency, and depth of analysis required. Many clients can start with a focused diagnostic before committing to a larger project. The work is not limited to large businesses; it is designed for growing organizations that have enough operational activity, customer data, or workflow complexity to benefit from better visibility and decision support.
Bayou Point is best suited for businesses that have customers, transactions, workflows, staff knowledge, reports, or systems already in place—but lack the clarity needed to use that information effectively. Messy data is not a problem; in many cases, messy data and scattered processes are exactly why the engagement is valuable. Clients do not need to know the perfect solution before reaching out. Some come with a clear project in mind, while others simply know something is inefficient, undermeasured, or costing them money and need help identifying where to start.
